About the Feasibility Study

It should be understood that the study you are about to download is not a specifically defined proposal. It is simply an example of WHY and HOW the project MIGHT be realised. It is not intended to be read as a Business Plan. It simply explores:

  • the need for the redevelopment
  • how it might be realised and
  • the needs that it could fulfil.

Of all three criteria, the project team consider that our proposal has come out of this examination with very high marks. The next stage is to further develop and refine the proposal – for instance undertake site investigations to see what is under the ground we propose building on; profiling the facilities precisely to the needs of the community, which will mean considerable work to establish not just what they are but could be (to what extent the Trust is successful in re-engaging with the sport-inactive isn’t known); having detailed architectural drawings completed; negotiating with potential partners for funding etc. These are just a few examples. The feasibility study is the start of our journey.

One thing that is vital to the success of this whole process is the requirement to partner with the local authority, community groups and local businesses. Once these groups have had the opportunity to read the initial document and meet with us, we are convinced that we will form a partnership that will create change for the people of Clydebank - who truly deserve facilities such as those we are proposing.

We hope you find the study interesting and if you have any comments, click hereto send these to us using the form available contact page. If a reply is necessary we will do so as quickly as possible.
