Match Report
Bankies remain top of Section 6 of the EuroScot Engineering Sectional League Cup with a comfortable win against fellow Premier side Ashfield.
Despite going behind to a 2nd half Lee McShane header for the 10 man homesters ... Bankies countered with 3 goals of their own. Firstly a Tommy Martin 18 yard effort was only helped into the net by home keeper Hall in 67 mins. Then a pin-point Allum cross was met full on by Wilson 2 minutes later to give the keeper no chance.
In the 80th Minute, the Bankies capped a fine 2nd half display when after McPherson fired a 30 yard free kick off the upright - Wilson was at hand to slot home his second in an influential display.
The win sees Bankies maintain a superb record at Saracen - with an eighth win from 10 visits to the fine old ground.h an eighth win from 10 visits to the fine old ground.
