Biography

Signed from Stonehouse Violet as a centre forward (striker) and got a run of games towards the end of season 1969/70, scoring three times in six games.
Because of the competition for that position, Peter Kane and Alan Munro were on the books, Mr Steedman started experimenting and used him out wide. Despite this Bobby scored a further two goals at the start of season 1970/71 in three(3) starts with two sub appearances. He left the club in October 1970 and returned to Stonehouse Violet.
